Dear Sir,

To manage infectious waste is the important concern for any medical center.[1] The infectious waste manage becomes the big issue in public health at present. An important problem in medical waste management is due to lack of proper system.[2] To have the good system, basic data on the current situation are required. In general, the issue of medical waste is usually talked in hospital. However, in real life, there are also many sections that serve medical care. Private clinic is the section that is little mentioned for the waste management. Here, the authors studied on the amount of infectious waste generate from the different kinds of all clinics in Buriram province, Thailand. In 1-year period (2015), the pattern of amount of generated infectious waste in different kinds of clinic is shown in [Table 1]. Based on this study, it can be seen that private medical clinic is the clinic type that generate the most number of infectious waste, whereas private dental clinic is the clinic type that generate the least number of infectious waste.
