Dear Sir,

The emerging infection is usually problematic in public health. Zika virus infection is the present problem worldwide. This arboviral infection can cause acute hemorrhagic fever and induce congenital malformation. [1],[2],[3] To combat with this disease, the primary medical personnel have to understand the situation. Here, the authors tried simple survey asking a sample of fifty medical personnel whether they know that there are already cases of Zika virus infection in their country or not. Despite, there are already reports on cases, all personnel replies that they were not sure. Some also answered that there was no case in their city. This can imply that the medical personnel has no up-to-date knowledge on the situation of the present crisis. This observation is similar to the previous survey during emerging of Ebola. [4] How to promote and give the knowledge to primary medical personnel during the new emerging disease should be the focused public health policies.
