Dear Sir,

Terrorism becomes the big problem worldwide. In public health, terrorist can cause serious acute illness to the general population and considered as a very important concern in the present medicine. [1] Terrorism can be seen at any places. Hospital can also be the focused place of the terrorists. In Thailand, there have ever been the incidences of hospital attack by terrorist. Until present, there are at least three big episodes. The first episode occurred in 2010. The group of 10 members of God's Army attacked a hospital in Ratchaburi Province. This incidence was successfully managed, and there is no death or injured patients and medical personnel. The second episode occurred in 2014 at a district hospital in Pattani Province. Bomb blast occurred at the parking lot and there were 10 injured patients. The third episode has just occurred in 2016. The incidence occurred at a district hospital in Narathiwat Province. The terrorists seized the hospital for using as bunker for attacking nearby army camp. In this incidence, there is also no death or injured patients and medical personnel. It can be seen that hospital can be the focused place for terrorism nowadays. It is usually asked whether the hospital is well prepared for management of mass acute illness due to terrorism; [2] however, it is usually forgotten to ask whether the hospital is well prepared for correspondence to attack by terrorists. Since hospital is an open place receiving any patients from outside, there must be the specific plans for correspondence to possible terrorist attack.
