The journal Annals of Tropical Medicine and Public Health went on an unannounced break for sometime as the situation went beyond our control. During the "vacation" so many things happened, especially with lots of queries from potential authors. Most of us had sleepless nights as ATMPH was very dear to us due to the impact it had started creating. Some authors who had then submitted articles rightly withdrew them and submitted it to other journals. Most of them were accepted which proved that ATMPH was doing a very wonderful job before going on the vacation. We would like to apologize to all. We promise that this would never happen in the annals of the journal. We will continue to give the best and impartial decisions to all submitted articles. We do call on our colleagues to always think of ATMPH when they want to submit any of their work for they are guaranteed quick and very helpful decision. Now the target of the journal is to reach a wonderful standing in the journal impact factor. The editorial board is working round the clock to achieve this.

From an editorial board point of view, we are really happy to be back to continue in our noble vision of distributing scientific information around the world. Join us!
